Empowering Rubuguri
Bwindi Hope Foundation is a local non-profit organization based in Kisoro, South Western Uganda. Originally established as a Community Based Organization in 2022 under the name Bwindi Angels of Hope, we rebranded to Bwindi Hope Foundation in 2024 upon registering with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau.
Our team of local volunteers works towards bringing access to necessary resources to the 400 families living in Rubuguri village. We do this through fundraising for our projects - ranging from schooling and healthcare to farming and cultural exchange - which we hope will make our organization self-sustaining in the long run.
In totality 120 members are going to benefit from a donation of a Goat/ sheep power to boost food production and family income.
This donation has impacted more than 200 lives living in 8 villages of Rubuguri community. Bravo ! to our donors and partners for amplifying our mission.
